NieR:Automata Cinematic Black Bar Remover - No Zoom or Crop
 
 Removes the translucent cinematic letterbox / black bars that appear during cutscenes in NieR:Automata.
 
 Unlike solutions that crop or zoom the image, this mod keeps the original image framing and attempts to reconstruct the image underneath the translucent cinematic overlay. HUD and subtitles remain visible.
 
 FEATURES
 
 - Removes cinematic black bars in tested cutscenes
 - No zoom
 - No cropping
 - Preserves the original image framing
 - HUD remains visible
 - Subtitles remain visible
 - No intentional FPS cap or gameplay changes
 - Works automatically once installed
 
 IMPORTANT
 
 This is not a perfect solution.
 
 NieR:Automata's cinematic bars turned out to be much more annoying to remove cleanly than I expected. They share parts of the game's UI/rendering pipeline, and simply disabling the responsible shaders also removes UI elements.
 
 This mod therefore uses a custom correction pass to undo the translucent dark overlay while preserving the rest of the image as closely as possible.
 
 I spent way more time on this than I originally expected, testing several different approaches before getting to a version that works reliably without zooming the image, breaking the HUD/subtitles, or causing the black bars to flicker.
 
 KNOWN ISSUES / LIMITATIONS
 
 - Brief black bars can still appear during some transitions between normal gameplay and a cutscene, or while returning from a cutscene to gameplay.
 
 These transition bars are rendered differently from the normal cutscene bars. I experimented with removing them too, but the solution caused image scaling/rendering problems, so I chose stability over trying to hide every single transition frame.
 
 - A very subtle brightness/color difference can sometimes remain in the area where the black bars originally were.
 
 The original bars are translucent rather than completely opaque, so the mod has to reconstruct/correct the image underneath them. The result is very close, but it is not mathematically perfect in every scene or lighting condition. It is usually barely noticeable, but it can be easier to see on very dark backgrounds.
 
 - I have not personally checked every single cutscene in the entire game.
 
 I tested multiple cutscenes, including scenes that previously behaved differently, and the main cinematic bars are removed correctly in those cases. It is still possible that some unusual scene somewhere in the game behaves differently.
 
 Basically: the main cinematic black bars are gone, but this is not a perfect engine-level letterbox removal.
 
 I did my best, guys. NieR's rendering pipeline fought back much harder than expected. :)
 
 REQUIREMENTS
 
 - NieR:Automata PC / Steam version
 - FAR / Special K installed and working
 
 The mod is loaded through Special K's DLL import system.
 
 INSTALLATION
 
 1. Install FAR / Special K for NieR:Automata first.
 
 2. Copy these two files:
